Mateusz Nowak will perform for the second time at the International Cheb Monodrama Festival "Divadlo Jednoho Herce" in the Czech Republic.
The artist from Lublin will give there a performance titled "Żertwa" ("A Burnt Offering") produced two years ago under a scholarship from the Mayor of the City of Lublin. The spectacle has so far been shown at Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre in Kiev and at Jerzy Szaniawski Drama Theatre in Wałbrzych. The production was also staged at the Divadlo Kontra theatre in Spišská Nová Ves (Slovakia) and at the 3rd International Monodrama Festival MonoFest'17 in Turkey.
Apart from the monodrama artist from Lublin, the 19th International Cheb Monodrama Festival will feature artists from the Czech Republic, France, Israel, Hungary and Italy. The artist’s stay at the Festival is funded by the Municipality of Lublin under the Mayor of the City of Lublin Travel Grants Programme.
