New Mobility Congress in Lublin, 9-10 September
26.08.201908:08

Lublin will be the host and partner of New Mobility Congress, the largest conference about electromobility for local governments in Poland. The event will take place on September 9-10. The Congress is organised by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association, the biggest industry organisation involved in creating market for electromobility and alternative fuels, and the Association of Polish Cities.

The conference will be held at Lublin Conference Center. The event is aimed at the representatives of local government, polish and international leaders and experts on the new mobility. The expected number of people who will take part in the Congress is over 100 speakers and panelists and 500 participants.

Lublin is a leader as far as the knowledge and strategic documentation of electromobility development is concerned. Based on many years of experience in developing collective electrical communications, we are in possession of valuable “know-how” knowledge for other polish cities. We wish to undertake joint actions with the Polish Alternative Fuels Association, which will have an impact on the electromobility market expansion and alternative fuels both in Lublin and throughout the country. It is an opportunity to develop optimal solutions and to stimulate the growth in this area - says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of the City of Lublin.

The goal of the New Mobility Congress 2019 is to promote the implementation of the most promising innovative concepts, to enable them to be moved from their present position to the mainstream of urban transport applications.

I am very pleased that this year Lublin, the modern city and the capital of Eastern Poland, has become the host of the New Mobility Congress. It is a city opened to new mobility factors. Public mass transport, car-sharing systems or city bicycles, based on zero-emission solutions, is the essence of the smart city concept. We have planned 20 expert panel sessions and 5 thematic paths connected with the workshops and the Expo zone during Congress. In the group of market leaders, practitioners of new mobility, experts and representatives of local governments and central administration, we will analyze and discuss the most effective and promising solutions available on the market - says Maciej Mazur, Managing Director of the Polish Alternative Fuels Association.

Representatives of Polish cities, district councils, as well as local government employees are invited to participate in the Congress. During that time, a declaration of electromobility will be signed and awards for the most prominent cities will be given.
