About Jagiellonian Fair

What distinguishes the Jagiellonian Fair from other similar events is that you cannot buy commercial space for the event. The organizers themselves invite selected artists from Poland and abroad to showcase their craft and traditions. Each year during the Jagiellonian Fair, every invited artisan is subject to a substantive evaluation by the selection board. As a result, the quality of products presented at the festival can be strictly controlled and become higher and higher year by year.

The Jagiellonian Fair refers to old fairs when it was possible to purchase products from exhibitors from all over Europe. Today the organizers cooperate with foreign centres of folk artists from Central and Eastern Europe, which allows them to invite interesting and well-known artists.
