The fountain complex in Plac Litewski (Litewski Square) is one of the most modern installations in Poland. It combines light, sound and different image renditions to show the breathtaking performances projected on a water mist. This month, there is an opportunity to see 9 shows on the Litewski Square fountain. The citizens & the tourists have had an opportunity to see almost 50 shows since May. Each event starts at 9 pm with “The Lublin Angels” presentation. Before that, you can also watch a 5-minute movie dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Polish independence, “Lublin 1918-2018, Inspired by Freedom”.

The shows description
Lublin 1918 – 2018, Inspired by Freedom is created in a newsreel convention 5-minute presentation on a fountain mist. It shows a Lublin’s role in the Polish independence process.
The Lublin Angels – a 12-minute multimedia show, directed by Janusz Opryński. Connecting to the Saint Trinity Chapel on a Lublin Castle, the show includes vocal parts from the Eastern Orthodox Cathedral.
The funny Litewski Square History – a show prepared by The Poławiacze Pereł Improv Theatre. The artists show their own choice of 5 the most important events at the Lublin history.
Sen o Mieście – a 20-minute multimedia version of the Janusz Opryński performance which was created first for the Lublin presence at the European Capital of Culture Wroclaw 2016.
Cultural events – a presentation of the most important festivals and the cultural events of the City of Lublin.
