The Week of Prayers for the Unity of Christians

From 18/1/2009 till 25/1/2009 the Week of Prayers for the Unity of Christians in Lublin will be celebrated. During the week not only traditional church services will be held, organized by Polish Ecumenical Council represented in Lublin and Archdiocese Ecumenical Council by the Archbishop of Lublin, but also many cultural events of ecumenical character.
The co organizers are: Ecumenical Institute at KUL, ACK UMCS ”Chatka Zaka,” the Foundation “Ponad Granicami” and the city of Lublin. It is worth to mention the Concert of the Choirs, as an inauguration of the Week, at which the hierarchs of the different churches and the Catholic, Orthodox and Lutheran choirs will be present . The concert will take place on 18/1/2009 at 4 pm in the Concert Hall in Lublin.
