Spectacles

Fundacja Kultury bez Barier and Juliusz Osterwa Theatre in Lublin invite you to the performance "Cowboys". Meetings with Lublin teachers were the inspiration for creating such a spectacle. This performance will have facilities such as audio description for the blind and subtitles for the deaf.

Centre for the Meeting of Cultures invites you to the premiere screenings of the film "Wysoka Dziewczyna". It depicts violent and brutal times as well as tense atmosphere just after the War period. The film features a mixture of euphoria and mourning, happiness and sadness and finally against all odds - slowly rising hope among the society.

The MET series: "Turandot" opera by Giacomo Puccini appears for the third time in the Old Theatre. The dazzling staging and the fairy tale scenery by Franco Zeffirelli ravish the next generation of the stage viewers and music lovers from around the world.

Concerts

Chatka Blues Festival is one of the most engaging music projects in eastern Poland. The festival spotlights blues in different shades performed by Polish and foreign artists. Chatka Blues Festival has been organised since 2010 at „Chatka Żaka” Academic Culture Centre in Lublin. It will be a real feast for blues and live music lovers.

Bronowice District Culture Centre invites you to a concert of an exceptionally talented young artist - Janek Traczyk with the band.

The Lublin Philharmonic invites you to a symphony concert of Elżbieta Karaś-Krasztel and Piotr Wijatkowski accompanied by the Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Exhibitions

Centre for the Meeting of Cultures together with Galeria Saska invite you to a meeting with Tadeusz Żaczek and a vernissage of his works. The event will take place on October 12 and will be presented until January 13. You are also invited to the photo exhibition "130 years of the Eiffel Tower” of a photographer, architect and designer Jean-Paul Lubliner. Another presented exhibition will be "The Society". It conveys examples of the architecture and design of the city after 1956, that have affected the identity of contemporary Lublin.

The Centre for Culture and Theatre Confrontations invite you to the exhibition entitled "Meno Fortas by Eimuntas Nekrošius", a Lithuanian theatre director. The exhibition consists of drawings, sketches, objects, private photographs extracted from personal collections and the ones documenting the process of creating: Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, Faust, Idiot and Divine Comedy.

Workshops of Culture invite you to a traditional photography course/photography workshops. Participants will discover the secrets of analogue photography, widely used not so long ago.

The Szpilka Foundation once again proposes the screen printing workshops. Each participant will be able to create original prints inspired by the Renaissance and the Union of Lublin period.

Meetings

The Centre for Culture invites to the meetings of Akademia Odkryć Fotograficznych next edition. This time Tomek Sikora - will be the host. An excellent photographer and one of the most creative personalities of Polish photography.

The Centre for the Meeting of Cultures and the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning invite you to architectural walks. The free cycle of strolls starts this weekend.

Kinobanda and Dosłowna Bookshop invite you to a question and answer meeting with Maciej Lorenc. He will talk about his latest book "Will psychedelics save the world?".

The Via Jagiellonica Foundation invites you to the workshops/visiting the "Fortifications of Lublin". The Lublin Castle and the city of Lublin in the Old Polish period had their own defensive infrastructure. How did the fortification lines go between Bystrzyca and Czechówka? This Sunday, Porozumienie Rowerowe invites you warmly to Wojciechów-Nałęczów-Sadurki bicycle ride. The bicycle route leads through rich natural and historical areas of the Lublin region.

The Old Theatre in Lublin invites you to a series of meetings for the youngest as a part of "Mała Muzyka". Children will actively participate in the concert. The event is based on musical, instrumental and vocal improvisation.

H. Ch. Andersen Theatre in Lublin invites you to performances with "Koziołek Kręciołek" as the main protagonist. On the occasion of its 65th anniversary, the theatre proposes to discover the secrets of its world during an exhibition at the Plaza Shopping Centre on every Saturday in October.
