It will last until the end of October. “A farewell to the Gypsy caravan – Andrzej Polakowski’s photography” will be held at Hartwig Alley until the end of September. On Friday, Sterilitas. Niepłodna/y/i/ość / Jagoda Valkov, exhibition is being opened. Jagoda Valkov is an artist who deals with scenography, photography and film. An auction will be held at Galeria Labirynt on September 27. The collected income will be allocated to support the reconstruction of the Nursing Home at Glowacki Street. On Sunday, Workshops of Culture invite you to the exhibition opening “Miejsce Szeptów”. The exhibition is the result of joint activities with the residents of Lublin. There were meetings during which the citizens talked about the places of their childhood and shared memories. Thanks to this, non-obvious spaces appeared, very often associated with nature, travels, trips to the nearby marketplace, items such as a lost tile from a now defunct furnace. The curator of the “Three plagues” exhibition will walk the visitors around to tell them about the projects in Galeria Labirynt . Works presented at the exhibition refer directly to the “plagues” described in the quotation or to other dangers such as fascism that is nowadays reappearing. All mentioned problems have a complex character and constitute a wide research field for numerous theoreticians and scholars.

Film

Centre for the Meeting of cultures invites you to the premiere screenings of the film "Mowa ptaków", directed by Xavery Żuławski. "Mowa ptaków" is a film adaptation of the last scenario of Andrzej Żuławski who died in 2016.
