The organizer: Dzielnicowy Dom Kultury „Bronowice” („Bronowice” Culture Centre) in Lublin
The competition is open to young people aged 12-25.
Goals of the competition:
- deepening knowledge and analysis of the chosen artist's work in an individualized and creative way;
- development of culture and visual sensitivity as well as creative activity of young people.
Task realisation:
- making a photo inspired by the work of a Master recognized as an outstanding representative of his age in the field of visual arts (painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, film) using contemporary models and objects;
- making a photo of the selected Master’s work and its computer processing.
The terms of the competition:
- each participant may submit any number of previously unpublished works to the competition
- and not reported to other competitions;
- the work must be done by one author;
- collective works will not be qualified for the competition;
- size of the work not smaller than A5;
Photographs should be sent in two forms:
- printed, sent by post to the correspondence address of the organizer,
- electronic, sent to the e-mail address: sekretariat@ddkbronowice.pl (the maximum of email attachment size is 25MB) or a CD or DVD attached to a traditional parcel.
Please attach a photo of the Master’s work that was an inspiration to the competition entry. The work should be legibly described in a printed letter according to the application form. The submitted works become property of the Organizer.
Deadline for delivery of works: November 6th, 2018
All works sent by post must be delivered until November 6th, 2018 on the following address:

The summary of the competition, the presentation of the awards and the opening of the post-competition exhibition will take place in DDK „Bronowice” on December 8th, 2018 (Saturday) at 12.00 p.m.
By entering the competition, the participant declares that he/ she has the consent of persons whose image has been recorded on the competition work and is entitled to use this image, publish it and make public presentation.
The organizer reserves the right to make documentation in the form of catalogues, photographs and newsletters and publications of works sent in the Internet, television, press and other media without paying the authors fees.
Photographs submitted for the competition must not violate the law, including in particular the personal rights of third parties, as well as generally accepted moral norms.
Participation in the competition is tantamount to acceptance of the regulations.
