"Hanka Banaszak is a unique figure on the Polish music scene. The scale of her voice is quite impressive. The way she feels swing, her acting talent and outstanding stage presence are truly admirable. She moves between different styles and genres without any effort. She can sing in a low slightly hoarse whisper or in a very high-pitched voice, which at times sounds like a trumpet. She spices it all up with charm, sense of humour and class. No wonder an empty seat is a rare view at her concert.”
