We invite you to the first of meetings during this year’s edition of Lub design! project, during which we will present the premises of Guerrilla Gardening movement, examples of actions and records of actions from all around the world, including Poland.
We will tell you about the inhabitants of cities and districts who join their forces and together they take care of small squares, lawns and waysides, creating urban green oases.
Richard Reynolds – graduate of geography on Oxford University, expert in communication planning and most of all – leader of Guerrilla Gardening movement. He started nine years ago by renovating during the night the neglected flower beds and streets around his house in the Elephant and Castle district in London. He entered the war against the indifference of neighbours, inspiring the inhabitants of cities to engage and take actions. Since that day, through his actions, presentations and blogging, he popularised the gardening guerrilla, making it universal and commonly accepted in several countries. His publications on Guerrilla Gardening are available to read in four languages.
Meeting will be interpreted into Polish.
