"Przy Bramie" Art gallery invites to an exhibition entitled"Adam Pociecha – Graphic Art".
Adam Pociecha was born in 1958 in Balin, graduated from State High School of visual Arts in Nowy Wiśnicz, studied at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine arts in Krakow at the faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice, and received his Master’s degree in 1987. In 1993 he became an honorary member of two artistic societies: the German Artists of the Westphalia Region and The Artists of the City of Lagenfeld.
Currently, he works as an assistant professor at the Academy of fine Arts in Katowice, where he is the head of the Drawing Studio at the faculty of Industrial Design as well as at Katowice School of Technology as an associate professor.
He presented his works at 36 solo exhibitions and took part in over 150 collective exhibitions, local and international.
