Raz, Dwa, Trzy band was started in February 1990 by students of the Pedagogical College in Zielona Góra: Adam Nowak, Grzegorz Szwalek, Jacek Olejarz and Jacek Ograbek. Three months after being formed, the band won the 26th Student Festival of Music in Kraków with their songs Talerzyk (Small Plate), Wchodzi (Enters), Rzeka (River), W każdej knajpie (In Every Pub) and Rozkaz (Order).

In February 1991 at Winicjusz Chróst studio, the band recorded compositions for their debut album Jestem Polakiem (I’m a Pole), which was released later that year. In 1992 Raz, Dwa, Trzy performed at the Rock Musicians’ Festival in Jarocin. Thanks to financial support of the Zielona Góra municipal authorities the group recorded their second album To ja (It’s Me, in the local studio Arlekin. The album was released in 1992 and Cztery (Four), the third studio record, two years later. Year 1996 saw the launch of the fourth album entitled Sufit (Ceiling)

In 1998, the group released their fifth album Niecud (Non-miracle) and on 28th February 2000 – Muzyka z talerzyka(Music From a Plate,) a compilation album featuring selected recordings of Raz, Dwa, Trzy. On the 7th December 2000 there was a jubilee concert at the "Wektor X" club in Warsaw, to mark the 10th anniversary of the group.

On 29th July 2002 a live album entitled Czy te oczy mogą kłamać (Can These Eyes Lie) of the band was released. It contained the group’s rendition of Agnieszka Osiecka’s songs recorded during concert at the Agnieszka Osiecka Music Studio of Trójka Polish Radio. The sixth album titled Trudno nie wierzyć w nic (It’s Hard to Believe in Nothing) was released on 31st March 2003. Four years later, on 24th September 2007, Raz, Dwa, Trzy released another live album, this time with their versions of Wojciech Młynarski’s songs. The title of the album was Młynarski and it was recorded on 10 June 2007 during the concert at the Agnieszka Osiecka Music Studio of Polish Radio Three. On 1st March 2010 the group released their seventh album Skądokąd (Wheretofrom). The album has sold 30,000 copies and has become platinum.
