Salon of Ilustrators is a periodic open exhibition initiated by the Polish Association of Book Publishers in 2003 and carried out in co-operation with the ZAMEK Culture Centre from Poznań. The exhibition, which has accompanied successive editions of the Poznań Trade Fair Meetings - Books for Children and Young People, is a cultural event significant for popularization of the beautiful and difficult art of illustration and graphics.
Salon of Ilustrators has become a place where various schools and techniques meet every year, and where young talented authors exhibit their work alongside acclaimed artists. Many eminent illustrators debuted at the Salon which helped in their contacts with publishers, authors and readers.
