Izabela Malicka – biologist, graduate of the MCSU in Lublin, retired university teacher. In 1989 she obtained formal qualifications as a fine artist from the Ministry of Arts and Culture on the basis of her artwork and artistic output. Her medium is oil painting; she paints portraits, architecture, still life and landscapes. Malicka has been exhibiting her works since 1979. She is a member of the Friends of the Fine Arts Society in Lublin, a keen voluntary worker and for many years she has been a Committee member of the Artistic Committee at the Friends of the Fine Arts Society. Her current exhibition is a retrospective of her artistic work.
