Ballrogg is a Scandinavian trio. The band started as a duo, drawing inspiration from European contemporary music as well as American avant-garde. Extended to a trio, joined by Norwegian virtuoso guitarist Ivar Grydeland, Ballrogg creates music that is tantalising on its own. The musicians played almost all over the world, garnering rave reviews in prestigious periodicals and in notable jazz portals online. On stage, Ballrogg develops its practically cinematographic sonic universe, turning it into an even bigger and denser texture of electronic and acoustic sounds, into an interplay of strings, the saxophone, the clarinet and the double bass.
