Despite the fact that Leon Tarasewicz bases his art on the traditional understanding of painting, he definitely and consistently crosses the limits of this artistic discipline.
Tarasewicz’s painting style fits into a historical tradition of art outlined by art movements from constructivism and unism, through colourism and abstraction, to the most contemporary influences. As his exceptional artistic work contained in dozens of exhibitions shows, the artist has always pushed the boundaries within his own practices. Leon Tarasewicz’s artistic output is impressive. The small fraction of his work that we could only see at the gallery in Lublin has never ceased to amaze us with the form of its creative power.
The exhibition occupies several rooms across the gallery and it is the largest display of the artist’s works in Lublin to date.
