Andrzej Korycki and Dominika Żukowska have been fascinated for years by the work of three outstanding Russian singers-songwriters: Bulat Okudzhava, Vladimir Vysotsky and Zhanna Bichevskaya, whose brilliant songs are characterized by intense emotions and meaningful lyrics that engagingly describe what is often hard to express in words.
The repertoire performed by the duo both in Russian and Polish includes a number of moving songs written by these authors, such as ”Modlitwa”/Prayer, ”Pożegnanie Polski”/ Farewell to Poland, ”Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin”, ”Piosenka o piechocie”/ Song About Infantry, ”Niebieski balonik”/ The Blue Air Balloon, ”Droga na Smoleńsk”/ Along the Smolensk Road, ”Pieśń gruzińska”/ Georgian Song, ”Ostatni trolejbus”/ The Last Trolleybus, ”Trzy miłości”/ Three Loves, ”Reinkarnacja”/ Song about Reincarnation, ”Konie”/ Horses, ”Бродяга”/ The wanderer, ”О, мой cынок”/ Oh, My Son, ”Kozacka przypowieść”/ Cossack parable, „Миленький ты мой” / Oh, My Darling, ”Эх загулял”. The concert programme has been successfully performed at the Ateneum Theatre.
