The exhibition is the largest display of the artist’s works ever held in Lublin.
Krzysztof Sołowiej began his collaboration with the Biała Gallery already in 1988.
Visually, his works refer to the rich tradition of European art, revealing at the same time instances from the artist's personal life.
His works are incredibly allusive, sensual, symbolic and elaborately made. The artist does not limit himself to the classical technique; he also makes use of plastics, fabrics, ceramics, papier mâché, bottle caps and toys. Combined with the precision of execution, this blend of materials produces an extraordinary artistic quality and meaning.
