The exhibition displays 22 photographs (70x50cm) taken in forests of the Lublin Region.
Author Wiesław Lipiec graduated from the department of forestry at the SGGW Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In 1977 he started work for the Roztocze National Park, a place that inspired him to take his passion for photography a bit further. In 1986 he won the main prize of the 17th Biennial of Nature Photography in Poznań. Several years later Lipiec published his first photography album devoted to the Roztocze National Park.
Wiesław Lipiec has collaborated with numerous national and international magazines. His photographs have been published in “Echa Leśne,” “Głos Lasu,” “National Geographic,” “Newsweek” and “Voyage.” He published several photography albums on the beauty of Polish nature and landscapes. A participant in over 20 photography exhibition, Lipiec is a founding member of the Polish Nature Photographers Union and president of one of its branches. Even though he has taken photographs nearly all over the world, his favourite place for taking photos is his homeland - the Roztocze region.
