This will be a unique and unforgettable night. The Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by Polish most famous conductor Agnieszka Duczmal, a founder and a longtime director of the Polish Radio Amadeus Chamber Orchestra and the first woman conductor to have ever appeared on the stage of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. The Orchestra she has been directing for a number of years is internationally renowned, recording albums, playing concerts, performing music broadcast live by among others the Polish Radio as well as by the BBC, German, Belgian and Canadian radio stations. So far, their music has also been transmitted by Japanese and Mexican tv stations.
In Lublin, Duczmal will conduct the Lublin Orchestra during their performance of nineteenth-century masterpieces: Gioacchino Rossini’s highly effective “Overture” to his opera “Semiramide”, Brahms’ last symphonic composition – “Double Concert in A Minor”, and the effect of Felix Mendelssohn’s trip to Italy – “Symphony No. 4 in A Major”.
