As befits the band called BERLINSKA DRÓHA, the group is based in Berlin. It was established in 2007 by Paul and Uta, both of whom are of Lusatian origin and who use their native Sorbian language in their lyrics. The style of their music may be categorized as folk-alternative-cabaret (the artists themselves label it anti-folk). Their numbers are characterised by high expressiveness and Slavic melodies that are arranged in a modern way. Their anarchy-laden lyrics treat of among others consumer culture and the stereotypes we are all beset with. Apart from the Lusatian language, Berlińska Dróha uses German, French and English in their lyrics.
In 2010 Berlińska Dróha released a vinyl single entitled "Zrudny Končak".
2011 saw the release of an album called "Wokoło Róžka".
