The creators of the Oscar-winning "Ida" take us this time to the 1950s and 1960s, Poland under Stalinist rule and the reviving Europe. This serves as a background for a story of great and difficult love between two people who cannot be together yet cannot live without each other. The score combines Polish folk music with jazz and songs from Parisian bars.
