The exhibition focuses on the role of the academia and independent student culture as the refuge of freedom in Lublin in the years 1956-1983. The exhibits on display include various materials from the Archives of Chatka Żaka and the Maria Curie Sklodowska University Museum: photographs, posters, leaflets and press publications from the period of student strikes along with a multimedia presentation of the accounts given by participants and witnesses of those events.
