Elżbieta Wojnowska is a singer, actress, composer and teacher. Winner of many prestigious festivals, including the Student Song Festival in Cracow, The Actor’s Songs Festival in Wrocław and the Polish Song Festival in Opole. She was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Polonia Restituta Order in 2001. Endowed with a strong and clear voice, she sings the poems of contemporary Polish poets as well as those of Polish and European classics. Her interpretations are distinguished by special warmth and lyricism, which – combined with a deep understanding of the performed lyrics and perfect performance – produces an effect that is appreciated also by the authors of these works. She has collaborated with composers such as Henryk Alber, Janusz Strobel, Janusz Tylman, Włodek Pawlik. Elżbieta Wojnowska also performs her own compositions, and some of them the audience will hear during the event.
