Notes from Exile is a very personal memoir of Sabina Baral, a twenty-year-old emigrant who left Poland with her parents in 1968.

"How much suffering can you endure before you go mad? They came out from forests, from holes in the ground, from wardrobes, cellars and attics, they were half-dead when they came out from the camps, returned from Siberia and Kazakhstan to their homeland, to Poland. And then, they did not leave for the next 23 years, they wanted to live here, where their parents were born and where their children – us, were born. After the wartime Gehenna, after years of suffering and fear, they decided once again that Poland was their country. And these people were exiled from Poland after 1968."

The production takes part in the 24th National Competition for Best Stage Adaptation of Polish Contemporary Drama.
Premiere: 9 March 2018
