To My Hometown is an exhibition of photographs by Robert Pranagal created under a scholarship from the Mayor of the City of Lublin for the implementation of an art project.

The exhibition shows 40 photographs created by the old noble oil technique and is part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of restoration of Poland’s independence. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue of all exhibited works and a diaporama.

The exhibition is the artist’s personal tribute to Lublin for its role in the restoration of Poland’s independence and is a travel in time to the city from the inter-war period. The show is a journey in the footsteps of outstanding Polish photographers who were associated with Lublin and photographed the city at that time, such as Edward Hartwig, Jan Bułhak and Stanisław Jacek Magierski.

Curated by: Lucjan Demidowski
The exhibition is on display until 9 December 2018.
