Maja Kleczewska’s show is about distrust. Trust is a system of contracts that allow the realization of large joint projects. The consequences of distrust are mutual accusations, the feeling of being deceived and intolerance. The goal of “Under the Influence” is to make a film in the theatre in front of the audience.
The audience participates in parallel processes. They watch the actors on the set, watch the film in the making and watch the film at the same time.
