Teresa Zembrzycka is a teacher by profession (currently retired). She comes from around Lublin and still lives there. She has always been passionate about two things – environmental conservation and art. Her interests are oil and acrylic painting. She paints icons by the traditional technique to preserve the canon, creates art works on natural silk (using her own technique). Her works can be found in local churches; they also decorate the walls of many apartments in Poland and abroad. Her current show includes religious art – icons and works on silk, and the presentation of the icon "Holy Trinity" according to Andrei Rublov, with the dimensions of the original. The opening event will feature a short lecture on the symbolism of this work and a live performance by the Bas Canto Men's Choir from Niemce.
The exhibition is on display from 12 to 31 October 2018.
