Once again, the city is launching a scholarship programme for an active engagement in an international or nationwide competition, festival or cultural project being held outside Lublin. This is another support for people involved in an artistic expression or cultural development. This year, it will be granted for the first time after the break caused by the pandemic.
Applications for travel scholarships are accepted on a constant basis until the funds allocated for this purpose are exhausted. Scholarship varies from PLN 200 to 5,000 and may be granted to a person who lives, works, studies in Lublin and who registered or received an invitation from the event organizer. It can be used to cover travel costs and other fees necessary to implement the travel programme. Applications for scholarships may be submitted throughout the calendar year, but not later than 30 days before the date of the scheduled departure.
Please be reminded that until March 31 you can submit scholarship applications for a project development in the scope of artistic creation or the cultural promotion in 2024. In that case, recipients will be divided into two groups: adults and young people aged 13 to 30.
A scholarship for the project implementation in the field of artistic creation and dissemination of culture may be granted to an adult person who lives, works or studies in Lublin or the subject of their scholarship project is related to Lublin. The project implementation deadline cannot exceed a calendar year. The project may last from 2 to 7 months and should be completed between June 1 and December 31, 2024. The gross amount of scholarship varies from PLN 2,000 up to 10,000. One person may conclude one project every two years under the scholarship programme.
A scholarship for a youth project development in the field of artistic creation or the cultural promotion may be granted to a person aged 13 to 30 who lives, works or studies in Lublin. The project may last from 1 to 6 months and is to be completed between June 1 and December 31, 2024. The scholarship bid is submitted by the interested person, and in case of a minor, their legal guardian. The amount of support ranges from PLN 300 to 3,000.
