Two delivery points of food parcels and packed lunches for people fleeing the war in Ukraine were opened on Tuesday (March 8). It is a joint initiative of the City of Lublin, the Lublin Welfare Committee for Ukraine, the Homo Faber Association and the Caritas of the Lublin Archdiocese together with the Polish Red Cross.

Food parcels have been prepared for those who crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border after February 24. In newly set up points, the food aid can also be reported by people who have taken Ukrainian families into their homes.

Packages are issued in two locations:

  • site at the safety town premises at Al. Zygmuntowskie 4 street, open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am - 3.00 pm,
  • site at Popiełuszki 35 a street, open from Monday to Friday from 12.00 - 5.00 pm and on Saturdays from 10.00 - 12.00.

Food charity collection from residents will not be carried out in the above-mentioned places.
