After eight months of project implementation, a first, online Steering Committee took place on October 22, 2021.
The Steering Committee, as the most superior body in the project, consists of the representatives of EU Delegation to Moldova and the designated persons from Lublin and Chisinau. Lublin was represented by Mr Krzysztof Stanowski, Director of International Cooperation Centre, and Chisinau by Mr Ion Ceban , the city Mayor. The whole Committee was coordinated by Mr Octavian Lungu, the Project Manager who presented the project progress and outlined major activities for the year 2022.
The meeting agenda also included various budgetary issues, potential costs reallocation, and VAT costs of Gmina Lublin. Both, the Chisinau Mayor Mr Ceban and Mr Stanowski stressed smooth hitherto communication between the partnering cities, which, according to them, is a good sign for further cooperation.
