Online youth exchanges - for members of youth councils and active youth.

The European Wergeland Centre, in collaboration with the City of Lublin, invites you to participate in online youth exchanges, which will take place in the form of webinars. The exchanges will be held from March 12th to March 27th, 2024.

Objective of the webinars:

  • To establish new and strengthen existing social relations to other youth within and crossborders.
  • To get an understanding of youth councils and youth’s situation in other countries – bothsimilarities and differences.
  • To increase democratic self-efficacy in times of insecurity.
  • To raise awareness and increase knowledge of youth participation and advocacy.
  • To identify challenges to youth participation and explore ways to address these challenges.
  • To reflect on the inclusiveness of the youth councils and explore strategies and tools to makethem more inclusive.

To participate, you need to be:

  • Between the ages of 14 and 22
  • A member of a local, regional, national youth council,
    or part of a youth club
    Or an active youth in school or university
  • Willing to take an active part in the discussions during the webinar
  • Have communication knowledge of English

We will meet in March!

The European Wergeland Centre is organizing webinars in March 2024, bringing together youth from Norway, Poland, and Ukraine.

The webinars will take place from 5pm-6.30pm CET on the following dates:

  • March 12th: YOUTH PARTICIPATION: What does participation mean for us?
  • March 13th: YOUTH IN TIMES OF WAR: How did the priorities change?
  • March 26th: YOUR RIGHT TO ADVOCATE: What, how, and where can you advocate?
  • March 27th: THE TIME WE MADE AN IMPACT: Sharing success stories.

Certificate of participation

There is a possibility to issue a certificate confirming participation in each of the above-mentioned webinars. Any such request should be reported to the organizer - the European Wergeland Center - during the webinar.
