Below, there are pieces of information on building accessibility of particular venues of Lublin Municipal Office.

Information on the sign language interpreter availability as well as details on entering buildings with an assistance dog can be obtained at the bottom of the page.

Sign language interpreter

A sign language interpreter can be taken advantage of in three ways:

  1. by connecting online with a sign language interpreter from the Lublin Municipal Office (the service is available during the working hours of Lublin Municipal Office) or during a visit to the City Office, at Information Point of the Residents' Affairs Office at 14 Wieniawska Street (connection with the sign language interpreter takes place via a mobile device – tablet computer);
  2. in person (translator at the Information Centre for Persons with Disabilities), you can make an appointment at tlumaczpjm@lublin.eu or in person at the Information Point of the Residents' Affairs Office at 14 Wieniawska street from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
  3. online - via Skype: gdudek.um.lublin

Information around assistance dog on public entering and any possible justified restrictions

Pursuant to the Act of 27 August 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, a disabled person has the right to enter, among others, any public building with an appropriately trained and specially marked dog, guide dog. The service dogs must be harnessed. Moreover, the disabled person should have a certificate confirming the status of the assistance dog and the required vaccination certificate of the dog. Entering the building with an assistance dog, does not exempt the disabled person from liability for damages caused by the dog.
