The Cross-Border Cooperation Academy 2024

In 2024, the Cross-Border Cooperation Academy will host another edition of its exceptional initiative aimed at supporting young leaders in developing essential skills for effective international collaboration. The event is targeted at individuals aged 18-30 from Poland, Norway, and Ukraine who are actively engaged in both local and international community life.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Cross-Border Cooperation Academy is to support young individuals in developing the skills necessary for effective international cooperation. The program offers intensive workshops, study visits, and the opportunity to establish valuable international connections.

Participation in the Academy will enable young people from Poland, Norway, and Ukraine to acquire new skills, exchange experiences, and build lasting relationships, which may lead to joint projects and initiatives aimed at building a better-integrated society in the future.

Academy Program

The Academy will take place from October 2-4, 2024, and will bring together 16 participants from Poland, Norway, and Ukraine. The program includes intensive workshops and study visits to institutions and organizations in Lublin focused on international youth cooperation. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills in team communication, creative thinking, public speaking, and the implementation of international projects.

Participation in the Academy

Young individuals aged 18-30 from Ukraine, Poland, and Norway who meet the following criteria are invited to participate in the Cross-Border Cooperation Academy:

  •     Actively engaged in activities within student organizations, NGOs, youth councils, other youth organizations, or informal groups.
  •     Demonstrate a strong commitment to broad international cooperation, which may include organizing international events and projects, participating in youth exchanges, or engaging in volunteer work.
  •     Interested in developing their leadership skills, social competencies, and engaging in international cooperation.
  •     Proficient in English at a communicative level, enabling fluent reading, writing, conversation, and participation in discussions.

The Cross-Border Cooperation Academy offers a platform for young leaders to grow, learn, and collaborate on an international scale, fostering a network that transcends borders and cultures to tackle global challenges together.
