On December 7, a conference on youth policies "Challenges in creating youth policies in Poland" was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of UMCS. Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Sport and Participation, President’s Plenipotentiary for the European Youth Capital submitted the most significant components of Lublin youth policy project. Furthermore, we discussed the engagement of youth documents in urban policy, civic education and youth participation, networking local governments on youth issues. Moreover, Krzysztof Stanowski, Head of International Cooperation Office introduced the activities undertaken as part of the bilateral initiative "Youth for the City, City for the Youth - projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities", supported by the Norwegian and EEA funds.
