15.03.202409:45

On March 11-15, a first study visit of representatives from Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia was held as part of the Europe Goes Local (EGL) programme. Study visit aimed to explore youth work in Lublin from a closer look.

Participants, representing public administration from Eastern Partnership countries within the framework of the EU's European Neighborhood Policy, had the opportunity to visit local governments in Lublin, Starachowice and Warsaw. Moreover, they had a chance to recognise a youth policy system in Poland.

During their visit, the delegation visited Baobab - an integration space for all city residents regardless of age or origin. Moreover, in the youth space Hej!, participants met up with Agnieszka Parol-Górna, Director of the Youth Policy Office and Aleksandra Kulik, President of Sempre a Frente Foundation. The meeting focused on a concept and projects carried out within the European Youth Capital, assistance provided to young people, recently formed youth policy and numerous aspects of youth spaces.

A turn visit to Tbilisi (Georgia) for Polish local governments is scheduled for August 2024.
