From March 20-22, 2024, Lublin hosted foreign delegations from Ukrainian cities: Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Ostroh, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil and Zhytomyr. Young people participated in the event briefing study visits within the "International Cooperation" component of Bilateral Initiative "Youth for the City, City for the Youth - projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities".
Furthermore, representatives of the Lublin City Hall and Lublin youth NGOs also took part in the meeting. The main goal was to outline the component ventures and present its results, including Lublin's first-ever youth policy document, process management which was supported by study visits carried out within the Initiative. The agenda included workshops and meetings with experts on: social consultations, youth spaces, volunteering, international cooperation and visual thinking. Moreover, during one of the sittings, participants had the opportunity to share examples of best practices of youth activities carried out in each city. The visit was complemented by sketchnoting workshops, where guests learnt visual thinking techniques and presented their ideas in a graphic format. The tour also included a visit to Prusa 2 youth space, as well as sightseeing of the city's main tourist attractions.
