The European Wergeland Centre, in partnership with The City of Lublin, invites young people and youth workers to the online seminar, which is part of a series of youth exchanges between Ukraine, Poland and Norway.
The exchange will take place on 23th of November at 17.00-19.00 and its main theme will be Inclusion and Cancel Culture in youth activism. During the online exchange-seminar the organizers will pose a set of questions and invite participants to a shared reflection.
- How do cancel culture and inclusion play out in the context of youth activism?
- How do we practise and understand inclusion and how cancel culture can influence it?
- What is cancel culture, how does it work and why should we oppose it?
- How do we approach building a more compassionate society?
There will be a possibility to also learn & speak about:
- Causes and effects of cancel culture in youth activism
- Building alternative narratives
- Building practices that support inclusion
Participation in the youth exchange is free of charge but you have to register to be able to take part in it. The link will be sent to the registered participants 30 minutes before the seminar starts.

The seminar will be hosted by Anastas Krusińska (they/them), an activist creating safer spaces for queer community in Poland and an experienced dialog facilitator, human rights and conflict resolution educator, Monika Kochowicz (she/her).
This is the 2nd of online exchange-seminars organized by the European Wergeland Centre, in partnership with The City of Lublin, within the bilateral initiative "Youth for the City, City for the Youth - projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities" which is supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants.
