On February 15-17, 2024, official delegates from Lublin visited Ghent (Belgium) - European Youth Capital 2024. Lublin was represented by: Agnieszka Parol-Górna - Head of Youth Policy Office, Aleksandra Kulik - President of Sempre a Frente Foundation, Lilianna Pankowska - Deputy Chairman Youth City Council and Marta Wójtowicz - Manager in International Cooperation Centre.
The representatives participated in the official Opening Ceremony of European Youth Capital Ghent 2024. The event was also attended, particularly, by past and future selected European Youth Capitals - Amiens (France), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Tirana (Albania), Lviv (Ukraine), Tromsø (Norway) and Lublin EYC 2023. The agenda also included a meeting with Ms. Hafsa El-Bazioui, Deputy Mayor of Ghent for Youth, as well as participation in a debate with European Youth Forum representatives on voting at the age of 16. Moreover, the workshop session networking European Youth Capitals and planning joint activities supporting youth was held.
