Today (27 November), the EYC Grand Finale Gala will announce the winner of the EYC 2026 title! We will also hand over the key to representatives of Ghent (Belgium), which will be the EYC 2024.

Representatives of the five cities running for the title of European Youth Capital 2026 (İzmir – Turkey, Malaga – Spain, Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tromsø – Norway, Vila do Conde – Portugal) and guests from Ghent, Lviv and the European Youth Forum met at the Lublin City Hall with Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak, the Deputy Mayor of Lublin for Culture, Sports and Participation, Mayor’s Plenipotentiary for the European Youth Capital.

We regret to bid farewell to the European Youth Capital title, but also rejoice that this youthful energy will spread further into the world!
