On June 26-28, 2023, a study visit was held in Ghent - the European Youth Capital 2024. The meetings were hosted by the local City Hall Youth Team. The visit was attended by 14 people from the Lublin City Hall, the Lublin NGO - Sempre a Frente and 3 representatives from Ukrainian cities: Ostrog, Lviv and Kharkiv. The meetings were focused on the programme offer for young people of various ethnic and religious origins. The participant met with representatives of the European Youth Capital Office, the Youth City Council and visited several model integration and youth activity sites running permanently and temporarily in Ghent.
The bilateral initiative "Youth for the City, City for the Youth - projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities" is supported by a grant of € 850,000 from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants.
