Exhibition "Cities and places of the European Heritage Label"

The exhibition was created on the initiative of the European Commission and is dedicated to 38 cities and places honored with the European Heritage Label. The sign is intended to emphasize the symbolic value of objects that have played a significant role in the history and culture of Europe, as well as in building the European Union. Its task is to build awareness among European citizens, especially young people, about the history of Europe and the importance of the process of building the European Union and a common, yet diverse cultural heritage. The exhibition is currently presented all over Europe, in places awarded with the Mark. After the exhibition in Lublin was completed, it was handed over to the other Polish bearers of the Sign - Łużna, then Gdańsk and Warsaw, and finally it is stored in the Office of the Municipal Conservator of Monuments in Lublin. The first exhibition of the exhibition in the hall of the Town Hall was related to the celebrations of the 450th anniversary of the signing of the Union of Lublin, as the city of Lublin was honored with the European Heritage Mark as the place where the Polish-Lithuanian Union was signed.
