The “Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre” Centre is a local government cultural institution based in Lublin which acts for national heritage, culture and education protection. In the activities it carries out, the Centre draws on the symbolic and historical significance of its residence - the Grodzka Gate - which used to be a passage between the Christian and the Jewish quarter of the city, as well as on Lublin’s location that has made the city a meeting place of various cultures, traditions and religions. Initially, the Centre oriented its activity on presenting own original performances. Over time, the founders of the NN Theatre have opened to other non-theatre social and educational projects extending the scope of art. Source: www.tnn.pl
